                                        Assistant City Administrator
   
City seeks Assistant City Administrator for rapidly growing, full-service, suburban community of 10,000 in Wichita MSA. Outstanding schools; robust economy; beautiful neighborhoods; family and business friendly atmosphere. Annual budget $14.5 million; 70 employees. Assistant City Administrator responsible for assisting the City Administrator in planning organizing, directing and coordinating the administrative and operational affairs of the City. In addition this position serves as H.R. Director for the City, as well as being responsible for various special projects, grant research and administration, risk management, training and supervision of administrative support staff, and various other duties. Preferred requirements include; three years experience in public management; bachelors’ degree or higher in public administration or related field; and stable, progressive career record. Finance and economic development experience a plus. Starting salary: $23 - $25/hr plus generous benefit package.
