Sgt. Stewart is a lifelong resident of Butler County. He started his career in Law Enforcement with the Butler County Sheriff’s Department in 1995 as a Detention Deputy. In 1997 Sgt. attended and completed the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Academy and became a certified Kansas Police Officer. While with Butler County Sheriff’s Office, he held the positions of Deputy, Corporal, and Sergeant.
In September 2007, Sgt. Stewart joined the Andover Police Department and now is Watch Commander of night watch.
Sgt. Stewart is the Andover Police Department’s Radar Instructor and custodian and is in charge of placing the Police Department’s radar trailer in high traffic areas for traffic education.

Master Patrol Officer Michealson joined for the Andover Police Department in 2007. Prior to that he served 7 years with Wichita Police Department, 5 years with Shawnee (KS) Police Department and also with Wellington Police Department. Prior to a Law Enforcement career, he served 12 years with United States Army.
MPO Michealson is a Field Training Officer, Radar and LIDAR Instructor, and has attended the Advanced Crash Investigation Course.
He is also a certified to install and inspect child seats and I have attended Crises Intervention Training to deal with the mentally ill.

Officer Brian Warner has been a member of the Andover Police Dept. since April of 2005.
Officer Warner was previously employed with the Great Bend (KS) Police Department, where he was a Field Training Officer, DARE officer, and member of the department’s tactical entry team. In addition, he was a Crime Stoppers spokesperson for the department and taught report writing for the Citizens Police Academy. Officer Warner taught new officers accident & DUI investigation and report writing. Officer Warner was a substitute Watch Commander and also participated in the Kansas Law Enforcement Special Olympics Torch Run.
Officer Warner holds an Associate’s Degree in Administration of Justice from Barton County Community College and a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Friends University.
