SRO Parker started his career in Law Enforcement as police officer for Baldwin City (KS) Police Department in 2004.
In 2006, SRO Parker joined the Andover Police Department as a patrol officer. Since then, he has become a School Resource Officer for the Andover School District and spends his time in Andover’s great schools.
SRO Parker is a proud Alumni of Cowley College and Friends University, from where he has a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Criminal Justice.

Officer Buchanan has worked in various positions within the Andover Police Department since 1994. Buck became a full time officer with the Wichita (KS) Police Department in 1994 then returning back to Andover in 1997 as a reserve Sergeant then moved to the position of a full time officer in 2004.
Officer Buchanan served as a part time officer in the Investigations Section with duties of evidence management, and rejoined the department full-time in August of 2009 as a School Resource Officer.
