Get Involved If you would like to become part of the grassroots citizen group that helps create the Redbud trail through Andover, please contact Byron Rupp the chairperson for this group. The City learned very exciting news on June 7, 2013: Andover's Transportation Enhancement grant application, which was for phase one of the trail (159th Street to the 13th Street Sports Park), has been awarded fully. The grant is based on a $1.7 million project cost and covers 80% via federal funds.
An open house was held on Thursday, January 4 to inform the public about this process and glean feedback from citizens. For more information about this project, watch this presentation which was given at the City's Rail Trail Open House.
