2019 Capitol Federal Amphitheater Summer Event Dates

Mark your calendars, you won’t want to miss these events this summer!

The Andover Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is excited to announce the dates of the summer events to be held at Capitol Federal Amphitheater® powered by Westar Energy.

The season will kick off on Saturday, June 29th with Red Dirt Roundup! More like a festival, this event will begin in the afternoon and will feature a stellar line up of artists, from locals all the way up to nationally known artists. Morrison County will kick off the festival followed by Mountain Deer Revival. After that, we’ll get “Barefoot and Crazy” with U.S Country Top 40 artist, Jack Ingram. We dare you to “Try Not to Listen,” as Wade Bowen takes the stage. Finally, you’ll want to stick around as three time Grammy nominated Pat Green brings us “Home” with hits like “Wave on Wave” and “Redneck Girl.” General Admission and VIP tickets go on sale February 15th.

The 2nd event of the summer will be held on Saturday, July 20th. Join us for a night of Blues and Brews. While contracts are still being finalized, you can look forward to an afternoon start time for this event as well. Be on the lookout for more details. Tickets will go on sale March 1st.

We’re going to end the summer with a Bash. A Birthday Bash! Join us Saturday, August 10th, as we help iHeart’s 107.3 ALT fm celebrate 5 years as a local station! This event will be more like a traditional concert and will consist of an opening act, a headliner, and a whole lot of fun! Tickets will go on sale March 15th.

Be sure to follow us on social media and check out our website for the announcement of artists for the July and August events.

Tickets may only be purchased online with credit or debit card by going to capitolfederalamphitheater.com. Kids 5 and under are free. This year, there will be three (3) ticket choices for people to purchase at each concert. General Admission on the lawn will provide the most economical option for those who want to enjoy the concert. Premium seating puts you right up front without having to bring your own lawn chair. The VIP ticket includes a reserved seat on the newly constructed patio. VIPs will also receive dinner. For a complete map and list of ticket prices visit capitolfederalamphitheater.com.

In addition to the music, several food vendors will be onsite at each event. Gates will open an hour before the events begin so attendees can come out, stake out their spot on the lawn and have dinner while waiting for the show to begin.

New this year, you will have the opportunity to save 20% by purchasing Season Tickets. These tickets will go on sale Friday, February 1st and will get you in to all three (3) events.

“Once again, we are hoping to appeal to more people and show them there is something for everyone here in Andover,” says CVB Chairperson Ben Lawrence. “The staff has been working hard to bring in some great artists and we’re really excited about the lineup for this year so far.”
