Butler County is ready to make that transition, so vaccine appointments are now open to anyone in Phases 1 through 5. If you live or work in Butler County and are ready to get your shot, visit the county’s vaccine page to view available appointment dates and times by clicking here or going to https://coronavirus-vaccine-outreach-bucogis.hub.arcgis.com/
A couple of quick notes:
First, all currently-scheduled clinics will be administering the Moderna vaccine, so you will be making a return trip to get a second dose. If/when the Health Department receives additional doses of the Johnson & Johnson (single-dose) vaccine, clinics will be clearly marked with the vaccine being administered.
Second, Butler County Health Department clinics continue to be restricted to individuals age 18 and over. That is a limitation of the vaccine being received – only Pfizer is approved for 16 and 17-year-olds, and Butler County is not receiving that vaccine.
