Our kids have for years enjoyed playing on the cement animals at the 13th street park. It is especially nice in the summer when the temperature gets over 90 degrees and the water feature was turned on. Now at the 13th street park during baseball games children and families don't have the water feature or even the benefit of a water fountain. Both of these items are broken, and when we questioned city workers we were told they are broken and will most likely not be fixed. The city really needs to budget money to maintain this park and all of its great amenities. The water feature is fun for all ages but not having water available anywhere on site during scorching heat could be down right irresponsible.
