No, they belong to City of Wichita and/or Sedgwick County.

No, the responsibility for maintaining water system belongs to the City of Wichita.

The City does install culverts but all costs related to the culvert installation, equipment and labor are paid for by the property owner.

The Street Department started a large crack repair program a couple of years go. The repairs are funded by the City’s annual street rehabilitation program.

5. The snowplow piled snow in front of my driveway. When is the City going to remove it?

The Street Department clears the roadways of snow. As a result, some snow gets piled up in front of drives. The City does not remove snow from the front of driveways. It is each homeowners’ responsibility to clear their own drives.
